I am Human

I am going to be honest. I am starting to really freak out about the fact that my life is going to dramatically change in 3 very short months.

I will no longer just be a wife, ill be a mom. Ill have a little human that is depending on me for everything. Don't get me wrong, I know becoming a mom will change my life forever, for the better. But that doesn't change the fact that I will be saying "goodbye" to this time in my life. The time that just revolves around Trey and my boys (Jet, and Doc). We have a pretty quiet, peaceful life.

I went and registered with Trey today.. I was like a deer in the headlights. So overwheled with all the baby stuff, and reminded of the change that is coming. I am pretty sure I haven't been the same all day.

I think these extra baby hormones are really starting to kick in, because I've been all over the place.

thats it.. me being human....I know that it will all be okay, because I have this amazing man by my side:)

Baby Stripes

I am  finally starting to love being pregnant. I am past the, "did she just gain a lot of weight phase?" I have a clear belly, and I am in love with it.... Ask me in a couple weeks how I feel.

How far along are you? a little over 26 weeks
How are you feeling? overall good, besides aches, and heart burn.
Do you have stretch marks? No.
Have you felt the baby move? everyday she is very active when I am laying on my side.
How big is the baby? 2.2 pounds
Weight gain: about 5 pounds or so
Maternity clothes? just bought some pants, don't know WHY I waited so long, a dream I tell you.
Sleep? so so, my back has really been aching so I toss and turn a lot, and pee at least 2 times a night.
Food cravings? always cold cereal, always thirsty
Anything you miss? Working out like my normal self. Ive had to back off on some things but still going strong with crossfit, and pilates.
Best moment this week? walking past the babies room.. getting excited

Happy 2014!

This year is a little different than most new years resolutions/goals. I am pregnant so that cuts out the popular one "lose weight". Jk I am very happy with being pregnant and take all the body changes the come with it.

My Baby is due in 4 months and I still have a lot to do.. so for now my resolutions are..
-paint babes room
-Furnish room (I finally bought a crib)
-Deep clean house/closets a thousand times..nesting problems
-Eat better, more fruits and veggies

I am sure ill come up with more fun stuff .. but for now enjoy baby post

How far along are you? 23 weeks and 5 days
How are you feeling? Good besides some back pain and achy hips (however, I got food poising this week and threw my gutts up.. felt like the first 3 months all over again)
Do you have stretch marks? No.
Have you felt the baby move? Yes, a couple days before Christmas I finally felt her move, now I feel her all day. Trey also got to feel her for the first time. She is going to be a great soccer player I can tell:)
How big is the baby? ear of corn, 1.5 pounds
Weight gain: about 5 pounds or so Maternity clothes? no, but I live in leggings
Sleep? so so, my back has really been aching so I toss and turn a lot, and pee at least 2 times a night.
Food cravings? always cold cereal, and random ones depending on the day
Anything you miss? Working out like my normal self. Ive had to back off on some things but still going strong with crossfit, and pilates.
Best moment this week? I was sitting in the bath tub and watched her kick my stomach it was really cool.

Small Speed BUMP

I have not done the greatest job at documenting my growing belly, but here are some pictures

This is at 9 weeks. After a home workout

12 weeks or 15 but I am pretty sure its 12 ?

I finally made Trey take some pictures of me yesterday after church.. I am a little over 16 weeks here. The skirt isn't doing anything for my bubble butt :)

I assume in the next couple weeks she will make a bigger appearance :)

pregnancy test, pregnant, and baby girl

I ve been a terrible blogger.  But there has been some exciting things happening in our family...

Aug 20th Finding out we were pregnant... I was feeling tired, starting freaking out that there could be a possibility that I was pregnant. I drove to the store got a pregnant test and went to the self checkout line...peed on the stick and both game out with a big "PREGNANT" ... I cried.. out of sadness at first, I was in shock, we both were. A day later I was very excited.. Trey was always excited :)

i took four test just to make sure

PREGNANT!

I was pretty miserable for the first three months... I was sick literally all day, then I broke my wrist pretty early on which was a challange in its self.  I was one of those girls that claimed I WOULD eat so healthy during my pregnancy.. well that doesn't really go the way you want when you don't want to eat anything but potatoes... and bread.

how we announced our pregnancy

documenting my broken wrist.. I got my cast off and eventually just had a brace..

this is the first picture of the baby. It was a really cool experience, the baby was just moving around like crazy. It became very real for me then.

the day we found out we were having a baby girl :)

I am excited/nervous to meet our little girl. I know that being a mom will be a huge challenge but the best thing we could ever do.
