2 weeks notice

Well,  I think those pregnancy hormones have finally kicked in at 38 weeks. Its hard to describe how I've been feeling lately. Today, was a little rough. I feel anxious and excited all at the same time... I feel like a ticking time bomb...literally:) like I am getting ready for this really huge thing, and I am not sure when its going to happen, or how I will handle it.

I am also starting to get uncomfortable, and tired. My bed time rolls around at about 9:30-10 every night.. with me usually waking up about five times. Just getting me ready right:)

My poor husband had to deal with me crying over nicking Jets ear while cutting his hair (trying to save money) It started bleeding all over the place and I just cried like a baby for hurting him. Note to self.. don't do things like this at almost 9 months pregnant.

On a happier note. Treys beautiful sister took some cute baby bump pictures with Trey and I.. I know they are cheesy but hey you have to at least have a few. Enjoy:) She is an amazing photographer.

April showers bring May flowers....and babies

While visiting my sister in California I had some maternity pictures taken on the beach. They turned out really great and it was special to have my sister there to help.  I was 35 weeks when these were taken.. I am almost 37 now..eeek 

baby update:

How Far Along? Almost 37 weeks 

Weight Gain: About 14 lbs 

Maternity Clothes? Yes, and no. I wear the t-shirts..sweats, and mostly lulu leggings. 

Sleep? my back aches all night.. my pregnancy pillow helps, but I think I need a massage.

Best moment this week? buying our baby strollers (amazing gift), and finding out I am dilated and this baby will come by her due date.

 Weird pregnancy moment? feeling like my uterus is going to fall out if I walk too fast 

 Movement: She is head down now, so I always feel her little feel sticking out my sides.. hah its really cute

Anything making you queasy? labor.. being a mom...its scary.

Gender: GIRL

 What I'm looking forward to: Having baby out and being able to sleep on my back! 

My beautiful friends also threw me a Baby shower. It was so fun catching up with old friends and the baby girl got spoiled!

hubby's 27th

This past saturday was Treys 27th birthday, and boy am I glad he was born. I've been lucky enough to spend the past 5 birthdays with Trey and I always love devoting a day just to him...even though he hates it. I unfortunately was a little sick on his birthday.. I guess at 32 weeks your immune system starts sucking even more and you get sick a lot easier.

Anyway, in the morning we slept in, my brothers brought over donuts, went to lunch with our good friends, and then for dinner I made Trey choose where he wanted to eat, he came up with Reg Iguana. We ended up going to Red Iguana 2 because of the hour in a half wait at the original.. in my opinion the other one is just as good, and we had a lot of fun just going out the two of us before baby comes.. next month!

I pretty much love Trey and think I am the luckiest girl in the world, he always puts me first and is even reading a baby book about sleep/schedule because I was too overwhelmed with everything else I had to read. He works so hard for our little growing family, and makes me laugh everyday.

Every year on his birthday I try to make his favorite meal (I know its not nearly as good as the way his mom makes it) He always wants steak, caesar salad, home made rolls (store bought in my case) and mashed potatoes

I officially am down to single digits, This little girl is coming in 9 short weeks. I am getting excited  to meet her, and just can't wait to see what she looks like.  She's been kicking a lot more and is very active. Here is a baby update of the growing belly.. I missed week 27.. just never happened.

30 weeks 

How far along are you? 31 weeks (picture soon to come) 

How are you feeling? overall good, besides aches, and heart burn. 
Do you have stretch marks? no, please no :) 
Have you felt the baby move? all day
How big is the baby? a small pumpkin

Weight gain: about 11 pounds or so 

Maternity clothes? yes and lots of stretchy pants, and sweats. 
Sleep? meh.. I can't remember the last time I slept through the night 
Food cravings? always cold cereal, always thirsty  
Anything you miss? not having acid reflex 
Best moment this week? nursery is almost done :)

For valentines day we got together with a couple of our good friends. The husbands were in charge, which lets be honest.. thats how v-day should always be:) they SPOILED us. We went over to my friend Anne's house where we were shortly told to go get pedicures.. a pedicure to a pregnant gal is like gold. Then the boys decorated and MADE fondue... it was amazing. We basically ate for 3 hours. 

I love Trey, he has been very understanding this whole pregnancy and I know he's going to be a great dad!
